Do you remember when we ran out of the house to check and rummage through the letterboxes and the letterbox, hoping to find a handwritten envelope addressed to us?
The arrival of the postman was an eagerly awaited moment and now, despite the fact that epistolary conversations are less in vogue and less used, letter boxes, over time, in addition to the objective one, increasingly play an aesthetic and decorative function.
Upon entering a house, and in particular in the villas, it is the letterboxes that welcome us and give us a first idea of the personality of those who live there. Precisely for this reason, the most creative people have given mailboxes a new identity, made of imagination and inspiration and, why not, also of art.
In fact, visiting different homes, we happened to find beautiful, original and fun ones, becoming real attractions. We got curious and selected images of "mailboxes" from all over the world that impressed us.
It ranges from boxes that take the form of animals (dogs, cats, but also peacocks or skunks), to beautiful floral decorations and more original and fun interpretations, worthy of mention.
In conclusion, we can say that although nowadays the advent of digital correspondence has replaced our beloved letters, we are sure that letter boxes do not risk losing their charm, also thanks to the imaginative spirit of the owners
